This season will see him surpass 4800 wins in his illustrious driving career and will also surpass career drive 25,000. In 2007 he recorded 83 wins which brought an end to his consecutive 100-win seasons. His money earnings were up from 2006 as he accumulated $ 278,398 in winnings

 

Steve is a member of the Saint John Sports Hall of Fame and was inducted the same time as pioneer & builder Ingham Palmer. With the amount of drives, Steve shows his consistency by sporting a superlative .332 driving average over the course of his driving career, an impressive number considering almost 25,000 drives.
