Trainer/ driver Bob MacNeil is coming off his career year in 2006 that saw the colourful hobby horseman amass eighteen wins, and over $ 25,000 in purse money.

In 2006, he recorded a .306 training average which was bolstered by three-year-old stakes star Elm Grove Action who was sold in 2007 at auction in Harrisburg for $ 42,000 U.S.

This season he is looking for another "Grover" in his barn as he and his partner John Lavric have two youngsters that they are hoping will make some noise this season. Both are being trained by Mike Stevenson and are both sons of Force Of Life. ( Elm Grove Chase & Island Power )
