 Trites Triples at TruroTrites Wins Three at Truro Sunday After a few weeks off, Truro Raceway was back into high gear on Sunday and Todd Trites grabbed three more winners. Todd took the third of the afternoon with the mare Too Too Breeze who stepped to a an easy 2:06 victory on a track rated three-seconds off. Leaders First was a romping winner for Trites in the sixth cruising to a nine-length win in 2:04.1. Last year’s driving champion registered his third win for New Brunswick owner Valerie Fougere aboard Allamerican Theta in 2:03.4. Fastest mile of the afternoon was clocked by M D Joey as he was impressive in a 2:02.2 win. Mel Land from Hopewell Cape, N.B harnessed up Melodys Cookie Boy for catch-driver Darren Crowe and were victorious in 2:03.2.
