
![]() New Brunswick Top - Guns First & Second in Canada for 2008Trites/ Barrieau Finish 2008 First & Second in Canada In the final weekly statistics released by Standardbred Canada this week, Gilles Barrieau will once again finish the year with the highest driving average in the country. Barrieau, who also won the title last year, finished the year off with a sparkling .427 average. Barrieau will also compete for the right to represent Canada again as he competes in the National Driving Championship in British Columbia in March along with P.E.I’s Marc Campbell. Meanwhile, Todd Trites captured his first Maritime driving championship this season as he finished off the campaign with a 206-wins and will be presented with the prestigious Frank Daniels Award in early 2009.
